clam help

ive had a i belive its a Crocea clam ( blue with spots ), ive had it for almost 2 years now . it was doing great , and i mean great ! anyway its been just about closed lately , not opening at all . very little opening . the only thing different was add a flame angel about 4 to 5 weeks now . but the clam has only been like this for about 2 weeks now . i did also changed my water flow direction just alittle but that was it . any ideas ????? oooo-ya i also have a electric scallop and thats doing great .

flame angels are known to nip at clam mantles. this would be the logical first place to start. the flow could be a problem if it is blasting straight at the clams too. but i would start watching the tank from the other side of the room, he is probably being picked on by the angel.

there are times i watch and never seen the flame near it , its very strange . theres really nothing going near it .

how about a med. size blenny . once in a while he picks on the sides , but he does iut nevery where in the tank
