Clam Help

Hello all I have the urge to get a clam I love the look of the clam. Any chance I could get a clam? And if so what kind should I get?

I have a 55 gallon with a 4 55 watt bulb tek fixture with individual reflectors.

You will be OK... if the clam is kept at the top of the tank.

My father-in-law has (4) 54W T5's on a 55 but he's overdriving them with an IceCap 660.

I like crocea clams. If you buy one keep it high up in the tank and place it on the rock. It will bore in over time. Maxima's are very desirable as well but the really cool looking ones are expensive!
