clam jumped

Hello, I had my gold maxima clam on some rocks, but I woke up and he must of jumped. Its laying on it's side. I would put it up, but from its mussle under the shell there is a threadlike mussel sticking out attached to the side of a rock. What should I do? Thanks!

it was moving around trying to find a place to attach to. you can move it upright so it's not sideways if you want. just don't peel it off the rock it's attached to otherwise you might damage it. =)

k thanks, so if i move the clam back towards the thread moving it upright it won't tare? The clam was on his side the whole day. Will it be ok? Thanks!

the most important thing is to not tear it off the rock. if you really don't like the position it's in, you can break off the piece of rock its' attached to and move it somewhere else.
