clam placement

I have a 75 gallon tank w/ 120 lbs of LR and a deep sand bed.. probably 3 inches or so.. I was wondering where I should place my Deresa clam I got.. and I am getting a crocea tonight.. I have 2 175 watt MH and 1 130 watt PC running on this tank..

This is my crocea and she likes to be in the rock. Before, she was in the sand and never did open as much as she does now. My squamosa sits on the sand and she seems happy there..Since you have 175 MHs, Id try to put it up closer to the light. JMO

I believe that Deresa clams prefer to stay on the substrate and not up in the rocks.

my deresa liks the sand. but my crosea likes rock it was doing bad on the sand and since I moved him it's been doing a million times better

Thanks lvpd..My crocea loves to be in the rockwork..it wasnt fully open when it was in the sand..I guess they are happiest when they are on a rock..
