i hope this is a typo.

can you post a pic

Agreed. That's like keeping a puppy in a closed shoebox, only feeding it pringles, and wondering what's wrong with it.

If that's true, your friend either needs to learn a ton about how to care for marine animals, or has no business keeping them.

Let me guess, the tank was started yesterday!

he clam is sick but the carnation coral, gonipora, anemones, yellow tangs, flame scallops, and stony corals all look fine! Hahahaha.. maybe he should do a 1 gallon emergency water change. I hope this is a joke.

Wow, very sensitive guys. Nothing like asking for help and getting laughed at, nothing helpful stated and general superior attitude, IMO.

Look, we all started at one time and most were listening to an LFS that only cared about selling stuff, not what was actually correct for us. Maybe it's a joke, or maybe somebody was new and told that this was all fine to keep a clam.

Good luck, newbie dudes out there!

Clams require MH lighting, possible T-5 (jury hasn't come to conclusion yet), but defintely not PC's. Nano is too small. Clam is stressed(or going to be) and will die sooner or later.

2 gal is a pico not a nano

I keep a 4 to 5" Crocea in a 10g with 175 mh 14k no problems so it can be done in a nano, though I go through alot of Randys 2 part

mbbuna already asked if he could post a pic. don't be too hasty in judging who has a general superior attitude. 10 minutes of research on his part will quickly answer his own questions as well.

i'm still waiting to find out if it's a typo and 2 , 3 ...5 days later no answer. it's really hard to give advice if we don't have any information or the wrong information.
