clam spawn causing cloudy water ?

last week i had a clam spawn in my tank, i did two good size water changes and today i did a smaller water change and my tank is still a little cloudy. i am running a canister filter packed with carbon and i have two bags of chemi-pure in my sump so how can my water still be a little cloudy ?

leftovers from the spawn could be causing a bacteria bloom

i have tested my water 3 times in the last week and my water could not be any better the temp is at 80, thats why i can not figure out why my water is still a little cloudy.
