Clams under T5's

anyone on here have clams under T5's?

I do. A 4x54W on an IceCap 660 and 2x54W on a Spec ballast. I've got a squammy and a crocea and I'm looking to get more too.

What kind of T5 are you talking about? If your talking about Tek T5's or icecap retrokit T5's or any other HO T5's with proper reflectors, then yes you can keep clams.

yeah i have the proper reflectors, just wanted to see any other cases out there, since the T5's arent widely used yet. thanks again

If you were asking me, I've got a 120G tank. 48x24x24

I'm in the process of reaquascaping it now, so I'll come up with some pictures when it clears up.

One of my tanks have 6X80 T5 all Deltecs, no problems with Clams.
tank height is something like 30".
I will probably end up with 8X80W.
