Ha Ha...Taking photos of your reef is like eating Lays Potato chips....cant do just one. Or like buying a fish or a coral at your LFS have you ever just bought one?

One of our local shops keeps them for people to look at corals they are thinking of purchasing. One of his suppliers makes them, he kept asking him to make a few extra so that he could sell them...though they would not be hard to make people like me would rather just buy one than go to the trouble of getting all the equipment/resources needed.

Anyway, the LFS owner finally just sold me one of the ones he had around and will get the guy to make a replacement.

That is just like what I am calling a top down box and they are calling a viewer. Mine is different dimensions but the same thing.

Thanks for all the comments.

No, it does not attach to the camera. You simply put the lens into the box and submerge...but not too far or water comes over the sides.

It sounds more complicated than it is, if you had one in front of you it becomes quite clear...I think people who use P&S camera's place the entire camera into the box, for those of us using DSLR's the lens goes into the box and the body is out.
