Clarkii vs. Akindynos - how to tell them apart?

Are there any specific ways to differentiate clarkiis from akindynos?

I have acquired a pair of A. akindynos and would like to confirm their species.

I will post photos of them tomorrow...

Full white tail and a brown color like carmel or chestnut with white stripes with a blue tint.

My breeding pair is huge too.

They do have a white tail and their stripes appear thin but not bluish... I will look closer tonight.

Mine too are large! I am used to small perculas and ocellaris.

Great! I will get a photo up tonight or tomorrow...

Can you post a photo of your akindynos'?

There's a far better chance of them being A. chrysopterus then A. clarkii. There is a chrysopterus (Tanna) variant that closely resembles akins.
