Clavularia Question?

I just bought a daisy polyp frag and was wondering what kind of flow they need? I read that another type of clavularia called palm polyps needed direct flow or else they will fade away. I'm wondering if most types of clavularia require good flow?

My daisy polyps like reasonably good flow. They apparently really dislike detritus on them, so even if it's in good flow, it would be a good idea to blast it off with a turkey baster during maintenance.

As a side note, mine don't like to spread over coraline algae. The rock they're on only has polyps where there's no coraline. I've seen them try to spread onto the coraline, but then the new polyp/stolon retreats.

OK thanks for the info, that makes sense. The ones I bought had a lot of detritus and algae around them, so it looked like a lot of polyps receded at some point. Guess I'll blast them tonight and then hope my cleanup crew gets the rest.
