so just about a hour ago, i was looking at my tank and i notice one of my cleaner shrimp is full of green eggs in her belly!! i then got online to read a bunch of things about it, but i didn't find out exactly what to do. So what should i do? i came to some conclusions:
A) leave it be, and see what happens. Even though some or all the babies, if hatch, will get eaten.
B) take out the cleaner shrimp and put it into a different tank. Then it might not be used to its new environment and not lay the eggs anymore, thus, they also all died.
C) wait till the hatch, and if Im lucky, catch as many as i can and put them either in a 2.5 gallon tank, or a breeding net.

so what should i do?

picture is real blurry because my camera is only 1.3 MP

My cleaner shrimp will have eggs every so often. I usually just let the shrimp be and the fish eat the eggs. If you are interested in letting the eggs hatch then you might want to create a setup specifically for this.

no one has figured out how to get them to adulthood as of yet. Forst one to do it (Major aquariums have tried) will be a millionare.

Wow, I can't believe that nobody has been able to do it, thats crazy. I figured it was like clowns or anything else, its been done before. Why is it so difficult?

There are a number of theories out there. Incomplete nutrition is one theory. I'm more inclined to believe that the culture systems lack a necessary external environmental cue to induce metamorphosis. Such cues have been found in many invertebrates that tell the larvae they are in a safe environment to enter their next life stage. So for these shrimp it is likely a chemical that they can sense near reefs that tells them that they will find suitable habitat, rather than going through metamorphosis, only to find out that they are miles out to sea. Otherwise, they enter the prolonged larval stage seen in the rearing attempts.

im down to go to sri lanka, but thanks everyone for the tips, i guess ill be the first one to become a millionaire lol if it works, ill give a shrimp to everyone who posted =)
but in the mean time, if they do hatch, and i can get them, i have set up a pico tank (2.5G) for them, check it out!

I really think that he is loving the 8 Ft of tank to swim in. But you guys definitely need to post some pics. This was my kind of apartment. LOL
