cleaner shrimp toying with death?

Well My electric green anemone is doing well. I have been feeding him pieces of shrimp and when I put it in he clamps down on it and eats it up. My question is I have a cleaner shrimp who likes to hang on the rock next to him and trys to clean the anemone as he is eatting. I think he is trying to steal some shrimp. If he is not careful can and will my nem eat his butt?

If my bubble coral can kill and eat a cleaner, I'm pretty sure your nem can. It might be a good idea to give the shrimp its own piece of shrimp before you feed the nem, just to keep it occupied and out of trouble

Yes is the answer. My carpet has eaten 1 Skunk cleaner and 1 Tiger pistol.

Yea def feed the shrimp first.. even before feeding corals.. I had a cleaner tear open my plate coral to get out some food.. they get crazy when they want to eat!!

The most agressive feeder in my tank.

I had to get rid of mine because no matter how much I would feed them first, they'd go digging in the mouth for the food. Little bastards sometimes....
