I doubt they will kill them but if a fish dies then they will most likely have a nice lunch with the hermits and other carnivorous inverts ! As the name says they are cleaner shrimps and they get this name because they help fish clean their mouth and gills. Very often will you see them in a fish's mouth to help him get rid of parasites. As seen bellow , I doubt that this moray eel would tolerate something harmful to him playing in his mouth
they call them skunk shrimp the are the only things in the tank besides hermit crabs and my daughter saw one of my fish being pushed out of the rock they stay in. It's the weirdest thing all my levels are dead on right now I have no fish left just shrimp and crabs, at night I go to bed in the morning there's one fish just dead, then a few days later another one is dead.
I serious doubt that, IMO, you may have some type of illness or disease in your tank. did the fish stop eating before they died, or did they show any signs of scratch or flashing on the rocks or sandbed?
