cleaning a diseased tank

can anyone tell me the best way to clean a medicine tank before re-stocking. it? i bought a fish from a LFS a few weeks back.. turns out the LFS had an outbreak from a Kleins that killed about 20-30+ fish in the store.... the fish that i purchased came from that bunch and eventually died as well...

I want to make sure that all disease is completely removed from the tank.. it has a powerhead, a biowheel filter, airstone, heater, and a few pieces of large PVC for hiding places I have drained it and filled it with tap water and am running the power hear and the biowheel filter...everything mentioned is soaking in it !
can anyone tell me what i should add to ensure a healthy tank ???
vinegar, chlorine tabs? etc etc

bleach. follow the disinfectant directions on the bottle. then dry the tank out.
