Cleaning a Used Tank

I just picked up a used 75g and stand etc today. I was wondering whether I should do any more extensive cleaning than wetting and rubbing it down.

It has been empty for about a month and a half. There is a lot of coraline on the overflow, but I assume that can stay there, correct? Apparently the tank had a bit of an algae problem before I got it and there is some dried algae in parts, but its been empty for a month and a half so again, no worries right?

I just want to make sure that I should just have to take a wet sponge, rub it down, rinse it out, then fill'er up.

You could definately just rinse it well and fill 'er up. But, for peace of mind, I usually rinse it with vinegar solution to get rid of the calcerous deposits. Your call though.
