cleaning an acrylic aquarium

Hi everyone... apologies for being MIA - work is all travel these days. That said, the new nano has a bunch of brown/green algae growing on the inside of the tank. What's the best way to clean this? I used to use a blade on my magfloat for the glass tank. I use a magfloat acrylic now but its not cutting it. Thoughts?

I have one those and it does a pretty good job. Atleast the blade part does. Just dont bend up the blade so it will scrape evenly. The pad part for me was a waste because you just cant scrub hard enough with it. Hope this helps.

for my biocube, i used a sponge from wal-mart that was blue & had a mildly hard side & a soft side to it. worked great & never scratched
