"cleaning" diatom algae off zoanthid corals?

My tank is having it's "newly set up" diatom bloom. I realize I am bad girl for putting a few zoos in there, but, I did. Now they have some diatoms on them.

Any way to safely "dust" them off? I suppose I could try using my feather duster tube, but i doubt he would much appreciate it ;-)

Get a turkey baster at the grocery store and give it a few gentle squirts.

Increase the overall amount of flow in the tank with the addition of a the kind of powerhead that creates a good quality of flow, like a Sieo or Tunze, etc.
