cleaning exterior of tank

What do you guys clean the exterior of your tanks with. Aquarium Designs had some aquarium surface cleaner for like $10 or maybe more. Then I found some no ammonia Windex with vinegar this evening(less than $4), has anyone used this?

I just use vinegar.

There is a prodcut that is called seri clean that I like. over many uses it starts to make put a coating on the glass that makes it easier to clean.

I second the seri-clean. I bought some from Phillip years ago and I'm still using it. He's right, its like it builds up a teflon coating or something and you don't have to use as much cleaner for future cleaning. Sometimes just wiping with a paper towel is enough.

I have a spray bottle with vinegar and water in it.... works wonders and is cheap

The seri-clean sounds interesting, though. I would like to try that.

I use a squeegee that I purchased at an auto parts store. Works great with just plain water. Quick and easy!
