Doesn't your bin stink, DarG?
I don't think I could get away with that.

I wash a dozen at a time in the machine. Turn them inside out, 1 cup of bleach, no detergent. An extra rinse cycle.
I have a couple dozen socks. I put the dirty ones in a bin and when its full, about a dozen socks (I use the large X100 socks) I wash in the machine. I change them 2X per week, so about every 6 weeks I wash a load of the socks.

Gotcha. Being married and living in an apartment, I don't think that would be an option for me.

One more thing. I turn them inside out when I first pull them out of the sump. Really would rather not stick my hand inside a larger filter sock that has been sitting in the bin for 6 weeks in order to turn it inside out![]()
