Cleaning Fluval 305

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how I should clean my Fluval 305.

I didn't know if I should change the carbon, ammo, etc... all at once or change some and add new?

I figured there were quite a few people that could direct me on the best way to clean these without causing any tank problems.

I dont think changing carbon all at once or in stages will have much difference, the most important thing is to keep that thing clean regularly, the foam builds a ton of old food and crap, I would say weekly rinses of all your media would be good.

I would replace that with some filter floss that you can change weekly or every two weeks and a purigen filter bag. Otherwise, you can run into some serious nitrate problems. :)
