cleaning nano tank

I am going to or I should say need to remove live rock 20 lbs and live sand out of tank to give it a good cleaning. I have alot of silt in tank on live rock and sand from moving things around to clean tank sides. I do have 4 fish and a few crabs red legs that I will be putting in a rubbermaid container. Should I doa fw dip and then clean rock and how would I clean sand with out killing of sand and rock?

you don't want to take out your sand and live rock to just clean them. if you have a deep sand bed you don't want to move it.if you have a sand bed of 2-3 inches.i just use a gravel cleaner to clean mine. if you have algae on your live rock you might want to clean it off but i would not give my live rock a deep cleaning.
