cleaning rock

I am in the procces of tearing down my 120 thats posted here for sale and setting up a new tank. I want to use some of the rock from my 120 but dont want any of the majano coming with it, so I let the rock soke in vinegar water for a day or two then changed the vinegar and ro/di water and repeated the same procces. Then i repeated the process a few more times with just ro/di water over a couple weeks. Then today i took all the rick outside and hosed it all off really good(all the rock is pretty much all white), now i have all the rock layed outside on the porch.

What else should i do before i put it in my temporary holding tank to cyle?

I will be using fiberglass rods and hydrolic mortor to form nice "tower/bonsai" type formations, should i do this when rock is dry or after cycled(mainly for drilling purposes)?

Acid bath FTW! Then cure for a month or 2. What I did, but mine are still curing, LOL!
