Cleaning skimmer from copper.

Hi,
Used a skimmer in a Q tank with a dose of Cupramine for a few days.
Any info on what to do to be able to use that skimmer in my coral introduction tank? would a series of rinses in freshwater get it cleaned?
Do you think it could suck a lot of copper that could affect the copper content in the coral introduction tank???
Thanks

Did you dose the QT with Cupramine to treat Ich or something? Because honestly, that would be a bigger concern to me than the copper. Assuming your skimmer is plastic, it shouldn't have absorbed any copper anyway. But if you were treating for Ich, I would soak the skimmer in a bleach water solution (10:1 water:bleach) for a day and then soak in f/w for another day. Rinse thoroughly before using again. Might seem like overkill but I take 0 chances when it comes to Ich.

Actually I had to use it on my Fish Quarantine to treat a fish as I still didn't have a skimmer for the fish Quarantine. Unfortunately the fish died after 2 days.
The skimmer is overated for the Fish Qurantine and I would like to use it for the coral introduction tank ( a different tank)and then get a new smaller skimmer for the fish quarantine.
I already washed the skimmer with freshwater and soaked it for 24 hours with water and bleach.
