Hey guy's whats up all enjoing the olympics were mowing down the compation :uzi: ... lol ? for you all what do you use to clean the glass on the front of your tank everytime I use windex or something like that with a paper towel it streaks alot and doesn't look really good . Wasnt sure if theres something good out there that doesnt streak and makes the glass look really nice and clear thx's everybody..Brian

I use windex, but do two passes. The first is really wet to get off the salt drips and then I go back and use a fresh paper towel with a bit less windex. Of course I only do this after I clean the algae off the glass, as the magfloat doesn't polish as well as it used too, probably because I go too hard and water splashes over the rim and down into the cleaner. I Imagine that's probably not the case for those with rimmed tanks :)

I use a squeegee like you use for a car's windows. No windex (ammonia vapor bad for the tank), just a little tap water to moisten the sponge side of the squeegee, wipe the glass with the sponge side, then squegee off the glass with the rubber side. I have a dedicated squeegee that I only use on the tank (the one for my car the rubber is pitted enough that it leave some streaks on the glas).

After every pass of the rubber side of the squeegee on the glass, wipe off the squeegee rubber with a towel (otherwise get streaks).

No streaks, quick and easy.
