Clear, snotty like stuff on my rockwork

Could someone give me an ID on this, please? I think they're dinos, but I've never seen clear ones before.

The tank is a 45g rimless, with about 55-58 gallons of water total.

It is clear, long and stringy, and has a very slimy feel. It is nearly impossible to brush off of the rocks.

Tank has been running since late May, water params are:

Ca: 435ppm
Alk: 10.0 dKH
Sal: 1.026
Temp: 78.6F
pH: 8.33
Mag: 1330ppm
PO4: 0.01ppm
NO3: 0ppm

I did a four day lights out period which had little effect. I raised my pH from 8.03 to 8.33 to try and combat this issue too, no luck. I am currently not carbon dosing. My only additives are 3ml phytoplex every two days and 2 part as needed.

I'm running a skimmer 24/7, have both carbon and GFO in a reactor. I'm using a BRS ro/di system - water coming out is still measuring 0 TDS. I have a few blocks of marine pure in my sump.

I was running macro algae in my refug section in the sump, but it was dissolving so I removed it. Measured my PO4/NO4 levels while this was happening and didn't notice an increase.

I'm using hanna checkers and salifert for test kits.

I feed very judiciously. I have four fish, two clowns, a six line and a royal gramma. They get a 1/4 cube of mysis every other day.

Googling it has photos that look just like what I have. Seems high pH and lack of silicates take care of it... guess I just have to wait this out.

Ive had that several times. Its some kind of bacteria bloom. For me I took cut my carbon source out and continuesd to dose a bacterial and and it cleared after about a week.

OK. I'm not dosing carbon, but I'll resume dosing bacteria to try and out compete whatever this stuff is.

Funny thing, when I bumped my pH w/ kalk, I had an explosion of coraline everywhere. Whereever coraline grows, it doesn't.
