Clip on fan

So I found this clip on fan,

It looks sweet rather than a bulky/sloppy mod of my own, only problem is seems the space provided to clip on the tank is smaller than the 3/4" i need. Any suggestions on to mod the clips? or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

somehting like this is what i used. probly cheaper to.just make sure its plastic so it doesn't rust and makes for easy clean up.

Have you checked out the one this page? It is the last one on the bottom. It is from a local online seller whom I have bought lots of stuff from.

Jay,

I tried this fan and returned it. The reason is that I wanted the fan to blow "into my main tank". This fan is designed to have the fan blow out of the tank. That's the way the fan adjusts it's bracket. That is probably fine for some. For me, I wanted the fan to 'bend inward" and blow across the water. This will not do this.

PS. Please remember, that when using the fan and it is working with a good setup, you should have a lot of evaporation, so if you have an auto-topoff, all the better. Otherwise, you are losing a lot of water through the evaporation process.
