closed clam

i have a clam that has completly closed up, very tight, he has been like this for 2 days all of my other clams are fine as well as the water. what could cause this ?

Sometimes they just come from the LFS all messed up and die, if he didn't open the first day with nothing bothering it in the tank. You might have just gotten a sick clam and you might want to get him out before it affects the other clams, also look for small snails on the clam.
