Closed mushroom

Hi.
One of my mushrooms is close for two days now. Any idea why this could happen?
Parameters:
Salinity 1.023
pH 8.2
nitrite, nitrate - 0
Ca 440
Mg 1150
Temp 77

I also noticed a small white worms on the same rock near there mushrooms I dont know what they are, no chance I can take a pic of such small creatures. Could they be the problem?

The ones pictures look fine to me.

Do you have any lps near it? did it fall/did something fall on it? do you redo some aquascape? change any powerhead's/flow around recently?

Sometimes shroom's close for a few day's.


I wouldn't worry if you see long worm's, but if they are flat and oval shaped then they can cause trouble.

I do have two lps on the other side of the tank. One is new and when I think of it, it happened when I introduced the lps to the tank...

No aquascape change or flow... And the worms are not flatworms

So they just sometimes stay close? Why did you ask about the lps?

Some lps can extend their tentacle's 6 plus inch's at night if the shrooms are 8" plus inches away, you're probably fine.

which lps did you get? and how are they doing?

Hammer is doing great. Torch is fine, Not fully open but I believe that once it will assimilate it will open more.

Just a quick update.

The mushroom is OK since yesterday. Fully open and gained her color back.
I don't really know the reason. I did fraged the other mushroom the day before, maybe it has something to do with the re-opening.
