Closed up Bam Bams

My colony of bambams has been closed up for darn near a month now. All other zoas in the tank are doing just fine. Any ideas or advice for me?

Try a dip in Lugols or Revive and see if any predators fall off.

I've dipped them in Kent's Iodine for 15 or so minutes and didn't notice anything falling off; I've done that twice. No luck. BTW - what is the ratio of Lugols dip?

I cannot speak specifically for Bam Bams as I don't own them, but I keep my other zoas around pretty good flow. Not too strong so they close up or are getting blasted, but good current blowing over them.
At this point, I would say place them and don't touch them. The more you move the the more stress you put on them.

there has to be some kind of predator on there, try taking a frag off of the colony and place them somewhere in the tank and see if the frag opens up. just my opinion, it seems like you have tried a lot of stuff already. try fragging a polyp or two.

I'd say leave them be. Fragging would cause unwanted stress. Personally I think there on the way out. I've had this happin for no aparent reason in the past and they melted away to nothing. Its been 2 yrs since I lost any zoas so I don't believe it was a predator or it would be a continuous issue. Just leave them be imo
