Cloudy eye treatment

After a bout of ich and a Cupramine treatment my tank is doing well but both triggers have one eye that is a bit cloudy. They occasionally scratch this eye but are otherwise eating very well and don't show any other distress signs.

I've read on the sticky the treatment for cloudy eye is a broad spectrum antibiotic. I also saw Snorvich recommends Erythromycin and Minocycline - for bacterial prevention/treatment in the medicine cabinet thread but what products specifically would you recommend?

It appears API sells a simple erythromycin but also sells something called Furan-2 which also seems to treat cloudy eye.

Suggestions?

In your case, either API Erythromycin or Furan-2 will probably get the job done. Erythromycin can be a bit slow acting, but it's "gentler" on the fish than the active ingredients found in Furan-2.

Can I treat with ABX simultaneously as the copper and will a Polyfilter pull out the ABX?

I was hoping to start my copper removal this week but need to treat with ABX for the cloudy eye issue.

I've used the following with copper: Furan-2, erythromycin, minocycline. Polyfilter will pull out all meds, including antibiotics & copper.
