tank was cloudy looking when i first got home today from work...thought it was micro air bubbles at first the way everything was floating around the tank and sticking to the glass...closer examination however...found these bubbles to be millions of little tiny white bugs...crawling climbing and swimming everywhere...are these copods?
my tank is brand new last wednesday...i still dont have my MH lighting running yet as i think my ballast is bad, and wont fire my new lights... do i just have my fuge light on top of the tank..it is a simple phillips daylight bulb flouresent...
all my live rocks are getting covered in what looks like some sort of rusty brown algae...
thier is only lone tiny snail (hitchhiker) roaming the bottom of the tank...all my parameters seem fine other then i saw no ammonia spike..
do you guys think i should add my cleaning crew yet? i am going to temporarily fit in my 48 w PC fixture until i can get the MH running..i am not sure if the cleaning crew will make it on such limited light though...my brown pollop has almost doubled in size in the last couple days too...i guess he is eating all those white bugs...cause i havent fead anything to the tank yet..
