Cloudy Tank - Morning Only

So for the past week I've been having a cloudy tank in the morning only. I have my lights setup on a timer and they start coming on around 8am, by around 10am the tank is crystal clear again.

I had thought this was just an algae bloom, no big deal, and didn't get too concerned. However since this is only happening in the morning (lights go off at 5pm every day) and happening when the lights are out I'm just confused.

Anyone able to shed some light on what's going on?

Have a clown goby, but it doesn't sit in the sand. Likes to hang out on the rock or on the glass of the tank.

What are all of your livestock in this tank?

2 x Clown (regular clowns)
1 x Green Chromis
1 x Bi Color Angel
1 x Clown Gobby
1 x Royal Gramma Basslets
1 x Cleaner Shrimp
10 x Cerith Snails
2 x Pincushion Urchin

And I thought it was some type of bloom as well - but it clears up for several hours and then gets cloudy again every morning...that's what is confusing me.

During this Cloudy period Does it seem like your fish might be feeding. IT could be plankton or as suggested algae of some kind. I have had similar things happen in my tank but its usually of the evening after the MH Lights go off and under the Actinic lights only .

Fish are acting like they normally do - wanting to be fed.

I did feed yesterday so today whenever I go near the tank they come to the top.

Well, it's crystal clear this morning so...I dunno.

No idea why it was only cloudy in the morning and no idea why it's clear now. Just going to go with the flow on this one.

Have anything that would release large amounts of sperm/eggs ie oysters or something of that nature?

any caulerpa in the sump maybe having frequent episodes of going "sexual". its been documented that it happens more often in the morning right before and after lights on and it clouds up the water
