cloudy tank

was greeted late last night to a fairly cloudy tank
what could it be?

did a 10g water change Saturday, and added a frogspawn. and dosed alk and calc on Monday. this was my first time dosing in LLOOONNNGGG time. could this have caused it?

Also I cleaned the intake on the powerhead of my skimmer (aquaC remora) and the skimmer has been going like crazy...emptied full collection cup twice since Sat pm

what should I do?
any particular tests I should check?

I've overdosed ca before and it ended up cloudy.

Do you have a clam? It could have spawned/released eggs. That can make a tank cloudy/milky looking. Here is what mine did a while back.

I did a pretty large water change and ran cabon for a few days in a cannister filter to clear it up.
