You are stubborn and do not understand the product and it's purpose...
... how is it a waste of money if it works? I'm sure you've wasted you're money on more stupid **** before that's why you're tentative towards a newer better product than its predecessor TLC, which was 90% inert; unlike Bio-Spira. Did you even look for the thread I advised you about ... probably not hence you're wasting everyone's time and influencing people's opinion on a product you know nothing about.
I was just kidding about the urine as well ... if you're even pondering of doing that you should be put into a sack and thrown in a river.
For those interested in Bio-Spira and the FACTS please visit the Bio-Spira thread in the "Responsible Reefkeeping" Forum. In quick summation it's simply concentrated live bacteria, that you wait for to develop in your tank while your cycling, only in a bottle. What happens is you dose your tank with enough of it that even though you're tank is cycling you notice little or no spikes because the bacteria has you covered! This makes it possible for people to transfer livestock into a new tank without running 2 tanks until 1 cycles and is great for jumpstarting any new aquaria! I have personally worked with it for over 3 tanks with 0 death rate.

I read more than you provided. I researched the product on this site and others.
Complication along the lines of the product that you constantly push isn't needed. It is a clever marketing job that seems reasonable, however, it really isn't needed. It is your money, though. Do as you will.
