Cloudy water. Help!!!

I have my reef tank set-up for two months and a half, since I introduced the first fish. I already have some corals in it and everything was doing great, corals are growing and healthty. About a week and a half, water was crystal clear, I left to the office and when I came back it was cloudy. It has being like that, I made a couple of water changes and it helped to clear a bit, but it's still cloudy. Corals are openning normally, skimmer seems to work fine.

What could it be? Any suggestions? I am not dosing anything, feeding frozen brine once a day and not overstocked. Reef is 130gal DT and I am only using wata, which I am changing every 2-3days. After this issue, changing every 12-24 hours. No hair algae at all and cloudiness seems white.

I also have a clam, could it be that it was spawnning or maybe another coral?

Hard for me to tell, possibly a bacteria bloom? Test all parameters that you can and turn the lights off. Also consider running some carbon.

Well, I still have cloudy water. I made a big water change last Friday (around 60%). It cleared a lot after that, but as the days gone by it keeps getting cloudy all over again. I am planning to do another big water change today, but I am fearing I will get to the same point. I am at lost on what could be the reason. I don't do any additions, so don't see how can it be a bacterial bloom. I have Radions with UV leds and sump only have skimmer and chaeto. I don't think I am overstocked as only have a yellow tang, a pair of chromis and a pair of occellaris in a 130gal DT. I am worried that corals are not getting enough light due to cloudiness. I am using Instant Ocean salt.

It seems you may be adding things to your tank too fast! You have to give your tank time to build up bacteria.....add some more live rock and turn up skimming my thoughts. Are you using RO/DI water?

Oh change no more the 10-15 percent a week......you are taking out a good amount of bacteria that's building in the tank. Your tank is still new! everything should settle down by month 6 and add a little live rock once a week? That was my process in building my tank and worked great advice from my LFS.
