I am planning on keeping a Clarkii clown with a butterfly fish, 2 dwarf angels and a dwarf lion in a 55gallon... I don't have anything set up let so nothing is written in stone... but would the mentioned fish get along? I am also planning to keep an anemone in there too... what kind should I choose, and what lights would it need? Also please keep in mind I am a noob:hammer:
please your help and suggestions will be welcomed and heeded.

you not a noob man, a noob would never ask questions. not sure what angels your talking about but some will nibble on nems

Whell my mated pair of clarkii's dont seem to mind my Copper banded butterfly fish, but i also have them in a 125 gallon and it is set up with there anemone's at one end.

I would just try the fish first, as time goes on if there are no issues with the clarkkii's then think of adding a anemone.

I don't know how big a dwarf lion's mouth gets or how wide it opens, but he will eat any other fish that will fit. They are big fish that contribute a lot a bioload. Butterflies are not beginner fish and dwarf angels shouldn't be added until your tank is well established - say 6 months. They need a tank full of rock to hide in and swim through and your lion needs the opposite. I don't see putting that combo of fish together and they'd be too much load for the tank size. Butterflies are sensitive and need pristine water and usually a larger tank. It's going to be heard to keep your water clean enough with that lion.

I'm not sure the lion can be kept in a 55g anyway.

An anemone is not something you would want to put in a brand new tank. A BTA is the most forgiving when you're ready.

Two dwarf angels in a 55 is pushing it. Have you considered getting a 75?

It's good you're doing lots of research now before you've even bought your tank! Sorry for all the gloom and doom.
