I bought this clown about 4 months ago for $15. Could you guys be able to ID what type of clown he is by the pic?

Regardless of what it actually is, it's definitely not an ocellaris. It's a designer breed of some sort. Definitely a steal at $15. Shoot... even if it was an ocellaris at $15, it was a steal!

Many designer breeds actually ARE ocellaris. Such as Snowflakes, actually.

Anyways, looks great, nice steal. XD

It's either an occelaris, percula or a hybrid of an ocellaris and a percula. Tough to tell without a close up of dorsal spines and eye color. See here for differences. http://www.ocellarisclownfish.com/difference-between-ocellaris-and-percula-clownfish/. To me in the pic it kind of looks like the iris is orange. If not a hybrid that would mean a percula.

Guys I appreciate the feed back. No doubt he's a beautiful clown. I love the thickness of his black lines, I hope that stays as he gets older. Funny that he's hosted to the leather behind him.
