My maroon clowns eat the same as everyone else. I alternate between a combination of small pellet formula 1 and 2 on one day then the next day a combo of ro'di rinsed frozen mysid, marine quizine and angel formula. I also keep nori on clips twice daily for the Regal and Tomini Tangs and the Bi_color Dwarf Angel. Clowns will eat just about anything you put in the tank.
Seems like tank raised perc's and occelaris are the most docile but are less likely to host with a anemone or coral. Maroons like mine tend to be more agressive, especially when they get large and they tend to host much easier. My maroons instantly darted to the Anemone once they saw it. Those are the only clowns I have had experience with so I can't comment on the Tomato or Picasso, etc.
