Clown fish?

The maroon would most likly kill the perculas. Maroon clownfish are pretty aggressive and perculas are one of the least aggressive clownfish.

ive seen it done it bigger tanks, not sure of the size, but it is a big risk, even more so if the maroon wants the others anemone(if they have one)

I've got a pair of maroon's and I love them, there even starting to like eachother. took about 2 months one finally gave in. they showed alot of aggression towards eachother but could care less about any thing else in the tank. I dont think the clowns you have would fair well. I was very nervious and ready to pull one. but they worked it out. Good luck!!!

i have a maroon with my true percs and they have been together for over a year in a 30 gallon without a single problem.

If you are going to do it, at least you will be doing it in the "better" order. If you had the maroon first, forget about it. Then it would be his territory. Since you are putting the maroon in a new environment, you might get lucky. You'll know pretty soon. It's always bad when you put a fish in that picks on your other fish, because you end up hating the new fish and feeling bad for your old ones.
