Went to the local fish store and bought 2 clowns which are now in QT for the next couple weeks my question is the guy told me to feed them 1 whole cube of mysis shrimp a day. Is this to much I looked in the tank today and it was pretty much all gone? Should I do this every other day?

You will get mixed reviews on this, but the general rule is no more then thay can consume in 1-2 minutes time I believe.

Honestly I almost feed that much to my 90 gal, so my personal opinion is yea too much for just 2 clowns. Especially if they are the smaller species.

Yeah they are tiny so I will cut back on that feeding. Yeah I figured that this was going to draw mixed opinions. Thanks

Feed as much as your budget and your tank can handle. Or better yet, feed a little bit of the whole cube over a period of several feedings. When introducing a new fish, I always make sure to feed extra. So long as you feed in small quantities that they can consume in one feeding and then feed multiple times until its gone AND you don't over stress your bio-filter, you are good.

I feed heavily and have <5 ppm nitrates and fat happy healthy fish.
