Clown spawning question

I have a mated pair of clowns. They are 7 years old this year. They were spawning and laying eggs until I moved the tank to my new house. It has been a year since the move and the setup was the same. Do they continue to spawn at this age?

They can yes, but often times a move can stop the breeding. Even with the same conditions they may choose not to start breeding again, or they may start breeding tommorow. Only time will tell and patience is key, so I have read.

As mentioned above, changes in environment can stop the breeding. One thing that I have heard can help is feeding more (especially the female).

Yes it took years before the first spawning. All conditions are the same just a few some items are in a different spot. The water conditions are monitored more now than in the past. I did change the lighting to from T5 to LED about 4 months ago.

All clowns react different. I had a pair of onyx shipped to me 500 miles away and they spawned 4 days after getting them. But I got a Darwin pair 5 miles away that haven't respawned in 4 months. Go figure.
Even little triggers like light change or lighting time, or even something outside the tank is not the same will stop them. Buddy of mine had a chair in front of his 12 laying pairs. He moved the chair and most of them stopped laying. He couldn't figure it out and moved the chair back by chance and they restarted.
Best thing to do it give them a safe feeling and a stable environment. And more food will help momma develop healthier eggs.
