he is only breathing out of one side. he has ich pretty bad, but he is still eating, and i am treating the tank now with rid ich. i dont know if he just started doing this since i dosed the tank a few hours ago, or before that..
any advice/experience with something like this?

yeah I been trhough a problem like this, I lost all my fish in the end. But the best way to treat ich is Hypo which is less stressful on the fish and gives them more strength to fight off with the ich, or copper in a hospital tank. But like everyone says copper is like kemo for humans. I learned the hard way and didnt QT. I had a baby clown trigger and a niger trigger and both had it bad where they turned to red dots. What is rid ich? copper?

well... he is still eating like a monster, and he can breathe on both sides. when i put a little food in there, he went after it, and both sides were working..

hmm, is the trigger in a qt? feed food mixed with vitamins and garlic guard or garlic extreme. It can help build up the immune system and help fight off ich. Interesting I've only heard of hypo and copper.

he is not in a qt he is in the main display.... i know, i know.. im workin on it. ive only been running this time for about 4 months, but im workin on it. its fowlr anyway though, so no invertibrate worries
he made it through the night, and most of the ich is gone. he just has light spots where the ich was for the most part. he still has a few spots, but its looking alot better. he is now breathing normally, pretty active. he is scratching. i think the ich spots are dying, and are giving him and the powder blue a hard time on thier way out. it looks like all is well.
