Clown Triggerfish Zit!

I don't know what this is, except I have been watching it develop from a small bump and has only gotten bigger. I was hoping it would go away as soon as I noticed it. There's no signs of scratch or darting, no fish have ich and haven't had any for a while now. I've treated with prazi pro and cupramine plenty of times in the past. I'm only mixing the right amount of salt with pure clean r.o./d.i. water. Nitrates fluctuate between 100-50 each day, as I've been trying to get the nitrate levels down. The trigger is eating and healthy looking otherwise and it's behavior is normal. Anyone know what this is on it's bottom lip area?

my goby had something like that.... check my post for pictures... i treated with some searchem suffer stuff that my LfS gave me and it went away in about a week

Thanks, I'll look into the red sea treatment. I forgot to mention the salinity level has been at 1.015 for a while. I'm slowly b1inging salinity back up. Ph is ideal range between 80 and 82.

I wonder if its from bumping into the tank..
I used to have a couple black rhombeus and they would get the chin bump from banging the glass

I'm wondering the same thing since this triggerfish will occasionally peck at the acrylic walls when I'm near the tank, in hopes to get my attention to feed it. It will also occasionally nip at some of the fake reef, shells, rocks to help keep it's teeth ground down.
