Clown with stringy poop

A bit of background: I have 2 juvenile clowns they were in 1 tank then the tank cracked so they were moved to a plastic tub while i prepared another tank for them. This weekend i moved them to their new tank (a 20g tall tank).

I noticed that the bigger of the 2 had some stringy white poop, i only noticed it once and was wondering if it's a parasite or could it have been caused by stress? It has been a fairly stressful couple of weeks for the whole tank.

She's eating quite happily, swimming normally and looks great. No ich spots, no other signs of distress. I've been keeping an eye to see if her poop still is white and stringy but haven't seen anything yet.

So, how do i treat/fix this? I don't think i'll be able to catch her again, not after the 2 captures in the past 2 week (i had to remove everything from the tank/tub to get her).

This is a symptom of external worms/Flukes. It is treated using PraziPro, which can be done in a QT or even in the DT. It is generally considered reef safe, except for feather dusters/tube worms.

Thanks. The prazi pro is on order should be here in the next few days. If i soak the food in it and treat everyone will that be okay? Not sure but i don't want to just treat 1 fish and then have the others come down with the same thing.

Like b0bab0ey said; PP is very safe. All fish (IMO & IME) should always be treated with PP upon arrival. Follow the bottle directions and treat the whole tank.
