I have a maroon in my 90 and yesterday I moved her anemone out of that tank. The bubble tip would randomly wander every month or so and in the process run over my corals. They seem to especially wreak havoc on SPS and since I'm going almost all SPS in that tank I thought I could live without the annoyance of moving corals out of it's way once it decided to go.
Long story short, now that the maroon doesn't have an anemone to host in, my six-line will randomly tag it and chase it around the tank. I can probably get the six-line out some night if I need to, but I was curious about possibly mixing some different clowns together...
...I have a pair of clarkii's that I just moved into my 92 last night and I was wondering what the likelihood of success is if I try to move my maroon in with them (none of them would have had a chance to establish themselves yet). I know these are two of the most aggressive species, but I do have two gbta's in that tank on opposite sides (so I'm assuming they would take up residence across the tank from one another) and no one has had a chance to really stake out a territory. They are all still pretty small with the clarkii female being the biggest (~3") and the clarkii male and maroon being about equal (~2").
It's probably not very likely to work, but I don't want to get rid of the maroon or the six-line and I don't think I'll consider moving the gbta back in.
