My clownfish died. Not sure what happened but what should I do know? How long do I wait to add any fish? Only thing in tank is hermits cleaner shrimp feather duster

Need more information. How long did you have the fish before it died? Was it quarantined? If so, how long? What were the fish's symptoms prior to death?

Had the fish for about 4 months. Not quarantined. Just swam in one spot on its side.

Just wondering if it was ick or brook how long do I need to wait for new fish. Or any tank treatment

The fallow period for brook or velvet is six weeks. Without more information it is difficult to figure out the issue.
