Clownfish Disease

Ive got a clownfish with what looks like a pimple on his head.

I highly doubt this is ICH from everything I have seen that looks more like polka dots and there is usually more than 1 dot on a fish and dots on more than 1 fish. My coral beauty and yellow watchman show no signs.

The fish has not been stressed, he is eating great, the only addition to the tank is an anemone and some GSP. The GSP was coral RX dipped. Everyone else has been coexisting for MONTHS with no problems.

Salinity 1.025
PH 8.2
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0

Phosphate levels?

There is another thread in this forum that was just started, the guy has the same issue.

His phosphates are .1. Way way beyond the recommended levels.

Turns out it's a bacterial parasite.

Phosphate is the hidden killer for most tanks IMO

I dont have a kit to test for Phosphates. Guess thats my next amazon purchase. My guy literally looks like giant pimple. I tested a new powerhead in the tank and it started full blast so I think he may have had been knocked into something. It was a little smaller this morning.

it probably meant anti-protozoals could be indicated for the fish as a treatment.

That is what it meant. But I dont want to give medication is its not necessary.
