So I picked up a nice looking clown (besides missing scale? see picture) from my lfs display tank that has been in there for a good month and I got a good deal on him. I left for a few hours after acclimating him into my main tank (I usually quarantine but I knew he was fine in the DT at LFS for a good amount of time. Well when I came home I noticed a spot on his left side fin that was red (see picture). Could it be a sting mark from my BTA that lies on the opposite side from my carpet that the clown hosts?
I'm assuming the spot on his stripe is from the other fish that nipped at him in the DT but I could be wrong and I could have made a huge mistake.
