just like the title says my ocularis clown that ive had for 2 years. he has been acting sick and not eating much. on his body he looks dirty dont know how to describe it not scratching he does come out of the conch shell that he has been hosting with and swim but not as much as he used to. have. all parameters are pretty good nitrate is around 20 but that is the only one that is high. have added another clown to the tank and he is fine. im not sure if he is sick or not he and the new clown seem to have paired up as they both share the conch shell know anyone have an idea

thanks paul

while watching my clown noticed that his feces is long and stringy, dont remember it being that way before. the clown is eating but still has that dirty look to him like alot of black on his sides. anyone have any ideas.

thanks paul

I think I have heard people say black specs are called brooknella or something like that. I thought my clowns had it but I think it was them getting used to their nem.

got a picture of the clown

the clown just hangs out near the bottom of the tank. he does eat, does not scratch. Have been to 3 different shops and been told by one that he is changing colors, another thought that it might be fungal and sold me pimafix and melafix, have not seen any positive results yet but only has been 4 days, another shop told me that the little black marks are scabs from ich and that they will clear up. i have not seen any white spots on any fish in the tank, i have looked at some pictures of brook and they look white. anyone have any ideas. water still tests pretty good with nitrate being the only thing detectable at 20 ppm. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks Paul
