clowns and sea horse

i have two clowns and i would really like a sea horse. i heard that the main problem is that the clowns will eat the sea horse food. but my clowns eat pods and cyco-ease. they also Hate mysis shrimp which i heard i could feed the sea horse. i was just wondering if anyone has ever had any secuse. also would i be able to keep an anemone in that tank to. my tank is a 25 gallon, with a CCS65, with 2 900 powerheads, i am also buy a MH.

No anemones with seahorses. The tank may also be too much flow for seahorses to feel comfortable.

The answer is maybe. clowns can be territorial, particularly if they are a mated pair. There are a couple of recent posts about clowns becoming aggressive towards seahorses.

If you want to try this, be prepared to set up a separate tank or give one of the two away if things do not work out.

well ocellaris and percula dont do in high flow either esp. if they dont have an anemone. so percs and ocellaris are a bit easier wit seahorses. bigger clowns wil probly give the horses some trouble.

ok i will have to think about what i will do i really want an anemone and i know they both cant live together.

This might be a stupid question but why no anemone with sea horses?? I was considering one until I saw this statement. I have two small clowns that love their anemones (1 each) but they don't bother anything in the tank.

Because anemone's sting/eat anything that touches them.

Please learn from my experience. Even an aiptasia that is smaller than a quarter has the ability to kill a full grown adult reidi. An anenome is just a bad idea. Not a matter of if but when. WHo needs the pressure.
